My Battle
It started when I reached my fourth month wherein I consistently being hospitalized. I had continuous bowel incontinence since I was born and mom as a nurse not panicking until I get hospitalized for the same reason. Mom's instinct believe I have a serious condition wherein doctors in DLSUMC specifically Dr. Nido my pediatrician not believing so. My parents had second opinion and brought me to another hospital and mom initiated to request for series of laboratories. They confirmed. I have Hirschprung's Disease.
Hirschsprung's disease (HD) is a disorder of the abdomen that occurs when part or all of the large intestine or antecedent parts of the gastrointestinal tract have no nerves and therefore cannot function.The affected segment of the colon cannot relax and pass stool through the colon, creating an obstruction

Hello there! I am Klyd's mom. I made this blog to serve as a baby book of my son. Since I am in no good at actual scrapbooking and I can 't keep memorabilia I prefer doing this online baby chronicles. Today wherein almost everything is in the form of technology this is the fastest way to update and share to her God parents living in other part of the world her milestones.

His name has no vowel like his sister Lyxn. It's my husband's preferred to name our children using no vowels since our last name were alternatively vowels. Klyd were derived from a normal name Klyde omitting the E at the end and second name Khmer is from the history wherein called to the powerful Hindu Buddhist Empire in Southeast, is now known as Cambodia. Again omitting the E from Khmer .It is pronounced as <Keymher> Husband and I believe our son is powerful/ strong by all means. And indeed he is.
He was born August 30 Friday at 10:55 in the evening via Normal Spontaneous Delivery at De La Salle University Medical Center. He was exactly 38 weeks weighing 3.5 kg and 51 cm long.
