Shakespear Merchant Of Venice : Act 1 part 3
In order for bassanio to borrow three thousand ducats , Shylock set a deal .
Shylock : are you sure you want to borrow three thousand ducats and give it back after three months ?
Antonio : yes im sure
Shylock : if you do not pay me back by three months , I will cut a pound of your flesh .
But then shylock remembers .
Shylock : Why come now you ask for my help, for the few days you disliked me , you spat on me and called me a dog.
Antonio : Yes I recall that and many other stuff .
Shylock : and now you come here for my help .
Antonio : maybe you should come dine with us .
Shylock : I will walk with you , talk with you , sit with you , but im never going to eat with you , nor pray with you .
After the discussed their deal , Bassanio and Antonio had left .
Act 1 Scene 2 - My Written Narration
Portia talks to her waiting gentlewoman about who she is going to marry , she talks about the other princes , one only talks about his horse , one who frowns a lot , and she shows no interest in all of them , she says to herself if she marry one prince , then she shall marry 20 more , Nerissa tries to be reasonable with her . after they talked , the servingman came .
